Welcome to the Great GA District web site! The site is designed to give you the resources to either find out more about Kiwanis in Georgia or if already a Kiwanian the resources you need to better serve the children and communities of Georgia and the world.
Our theme this year is a charge, which I give you all. As a Ramblin’ Wreck from Ga. Tech I call it C3 (C cubed).
|   | Commitment - To the six objects of Kiwanis International. |
|   | Challenge - Get involved. Be a leader, a doer, and a thinker. |
|   | Class - Whatever we do, do it right and with style. Have fun! |
Our priorities this year are:
|   | 1. | Leadership at all levels of our organization. |
|   | 2. | We MUST COMMIT ourselves to growth not just lip service. If we don’t, we stagnate and die. |
|   | 3. | Our bread and butter and what sets us apart from other service organizations are our Service Leadership Programs – Circle K, Key Club, Builders Club, K-Kids, Aktion Club, and Key Leader. Every school should have one, but hardly any do! |
Lastly, we need to change the way we do business.
|   | 1. | Leadership is the key and you lead from the front. |
|   | 2. | How often have you heard “THEY ought to fix this or THEY ought to do something”? Well folks, the “THEY” is “WE”. WE are the leaders. If we don’t do it, who will? |
|   | 3. | We can no longer continue to just do the many good things we have in the past. Regardless of how good they may be and the great people we have, our numbers are declining. So it is time to not just “think outside the box”. It is time to “destroy the box” and come up with ways for us to grow. |
Kiwanians, the work is there to do. My rallying cry to you is “Let’s go do the work!”
Bonnie and I stand ready to help each and every one of you make a difference. HAVE A GREAT KIWANIS YEAR OF SERVICE!
